What do you really know about the real incidence of Guillain-Barré syndrome ? I think that the epidemiological data up-to-date need to be corrected to a higher level of incidence.

According to NWHIC and 4Woman.gov prevalence & incidence are about 1 in 100,000 (NWHIC).
In the United States, it affects men and women equally & has an incidence of 0.6 to 2.4 cases per 100,000 people. 2,720 people are affected
Other studies reported incidence of GBS in pediatric patients to be 1.37/100,000, more common in boys
